for certified training opportunities for
CyberZone members. A limited number of members
can attend certified courses in Health and

is now supporting members approaching 19
years of age to access information about

Vera and Craig
We are pleased to
announce that volunteer Vera
was awarded a level 2 certificate in Food
Hygiene just before Christmas. Member Craig
has recently taken on volunteering duties
and will be working with Vera at lunch times.
Lunch is available at £1 each.
POLLY - VOLUNTEER
GAMES CO-ORDINATOR
Polly
has joined the team until summer. She will
be co-ordinating use of the PSP, PS2 and Wii
games consoles in the afternoons.
If you have borrowed games from CyberZone
please leave them with Polly as soon as possible
so that other members can enjoy them.

ran 2 workshops in February and March.

to buy 2 complete self-contained animation/video
kits to be used in workshops Andy has volunteered
to run in the meeting room.

New funding for
weekend residential: ‘Growing up, puberty
and relationships’
Thanks to Bronwen
Bakare from the Youth Service,
and Sally Fricker and Andy
Prendergast from Friends of CyberZone,
funding from the Healthy Communities
Fund was secured for a residential
weekend. The residential took place in October
2006.
New funding for
computer
hardware
Thanks to the combined
efforts of Sally Fricker
and Andy Prendergast from
Friends of CyberZone, funding from BBC
Children in Need has been secured
for new computer hardware. Equipment including
PlayStation3's, PSPs and Nintendo Wii's
will be ordered soon.
