latest Newsletter - july2008

Dear All,

Welcome to the latest newsletter from CyberZone. Here you will find staff updates
and important dates.

Sadhana,
CyberZone Manager

WELCOME BACK WINSTON
We are absolutely thrilled to have Winston back from his duties at Ladywell Centre. He has returned to CyberZone to take care of the building and welcome you to the centre each Saturday morning.
THANK YOU AND GOODBYE

We recently had to say thank you and goodbye to staff and volunteers at the end of their placements at CyberZone:

  • Kapil joined us while Winston was away. He organised activities in the main hall and supported members to try out volunteering at CyberZone. Kapil has now returned to Ladywell Centre.
  • Olu helped pilot the Transitions workshops and will continue with her college course in September.
  • Polly and Andy supported children to access games consoles, computers and the pool table
They made a fantastic contribution to CyberZone and we wish them the very best.
FAMILY LEARNING @ CYBERZONE
As mentioned at the Friends of CyberZone meeting in June, funding for family learning cannot be guaranteed after the summer holiday. This may mean that a change in provision and staffing levels for family learning will be necessary, however the service to children will remain unchanged.
