ENROLMENTS 2007-2008
Children and young
people enrol at CyberZone once when they join.
However parents and carers should enrol each
year to ensure that the CyberZone Family Learning
Workshop receives the correct level of funding.
Please enrol with Angela
the next time you visit CyberZone.
TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Grants Officer Sally
Fricker has successfully secured part-funding
for certified training opportunities for CyberZone
members. A limited number of members can attend
certified courses in Health and Safety and
Food Hygiene. If you are interested in getting
trained please let Sadhana
know.
TRANSITIONS
Volunteer Olu
is now supporting members approaching 19
years of age to access information about
other services to move on to. You may want
to know about local or national services
that provide perhaps care, education and
training, volunteering opportunities or
employment. If so, please arrange a time
to meet with Olu to discuss the needs and
aspirations of the child or young person
you care for.
If you have information that other CyberZone
members should know then please pass them
on to Olu.
SKILLS SWAP MONTHLY
Skills Swap sessions
take place on the last Saturday of each month
(unless the centre is closed) and are organised
by Angela. In January volunteer
Cameron showed a group of
children how to play chords on guitar. If
you would like to share skills with others
or learn new ones please contact Angela for
more information - the next Skills Swap is
on Saturday 23rd February 2008.
