New: Employment Workshop: Saturday  16th of October: 12.30pm (Next Saturday!!)

We will be having a visit from Liz Clyro (MENCAP Service Manager) and Gale Hodges MENCAP Job Trainer) to discuss employment opportunities for young people with learning disabilities. Both parents and teenagers are welcome to attend. Open to non CyberZone members.

 

Street Wise Workshops – Saturdays 10 – 11am

Sex and Relationship Education  - Saturdays 11.30 – 12.30pm

 

Both of the above workshop are open on the following dates:

 

Saturday 9 to the 23 October 04 and 6  to the 4 Dec 04 (closed 30 Oct)

 

At present I do not have funding for these workshops in 2005 so use them while you can !!

 

½ Term Holiday CyberZone - Book Now:

Wednesday 27 October 04                   9.15 – 12noon & 1.00 – 3.45pm

Thursday 28 October 04                      9.15 – 12noon & 1.00 – 3.45pm

 

New: Fun with Food – Saturday Mornings for 2 hours

Independent living for families with disabled children. Course will focus on everyday survival skills. Food preparation, kitchen skills, keeping safe in the kitchen, hygiene, handling money, shopping and travel. Provisional Start date: 6 Nov 04 (Time not yet set). Please BOOK

New: Equipment And CDs

We have been able to purchase a considerable amount of new equipment, software and CD's. That purchasing is on going, so if there is something particular that you think would be useful, let me know. For help with funding this I would like to thank:
