Ahoy Sailing:  Friday 14 & 21st October 9.30am – 12.30pm or 12.30 – 3.00pm

I have space for a few children to come sailing on the Thames. Alas this is on Fridays. But if anybody would like to come along they are more than welcome.

I hope to make arrangements for additional days for CyberZone children to go sailing (hopefully on a Saturday) – after all we are only a few hundred yards from the river!! If you are interested please see me – Phil.

Dads and Dinghies:

Would you like to participate in a Dads and Dinghies scheme? You would help build a 12 foot sailing Dinghy from a Kit and be trained in Dinghy Sailing to RYA level 1 and 2 standard.

Objectives: To engage Dads to learn to sail in order to then go on to teach their children hence family learning: Participate in a challenging sport. Gain a nationally recognised qualification. Become volunteers. Assist and help others including their families in the community. To be able to sail a dinghy in which you build yourself.

If dads are keen to participate please let me know a.s.a.p. as only if there is a good response will I push ahead and find funding. This is a project in partnership between CyberZone and AHOY.
